Jack William Burt

Baby Jack William Burt was born on July 31st. We were all so anxious for him to come. He was 6 lbs. 6 oz. and 18 inches long, and he is such a cutie! We are so happy that he is here and is a healthy little baby.
Here is Grandpa Jack holding his namesake, baby Jack.
An excited Aunt that loves to squeeze his cute little bum.

AnaBella and Mitchell giving each other a big squeeze.
There were some nurses that had come around and had given us all rootbeer floats. Spencer loves newborns, hopefully this doesn't give him any ideas!
Easton is a proud new cousin, he loves holding babies.
Camden just wants any opportunity to make a silly face for the camera.

What a cute little baby!

Oquirrh Mountain Temple

We went with our family and our neighbors to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. This is our new temple and the kids were so excited to see inside of this beautiful building. Hopefully, they will always remember walking through the temple.Mike and Jen

So Innocent

When my kids are sleeping they look so innocent. AnaBella always tells us that she wants to sleep with the boys. Normally we will leave her in there for a little while and then we have to put her in her own bed because she keeps the boys up. This particular night they were all so exhausted they all fell asleep on the floor. My boys have not slept in their beds this whole summer. They like to sleep together. Easton told me that after the earthquake he will sleep in his bed again. I think he is afraid that if there is an earthquake he will smash Camden in the lower bunk.

First day of 1st Grade

Easton started 1st Grade on July 27th. Here he is with his carpool friends Abby and Afton. Am I really old enough to have a 1st grader???

Moon Lake 2009

Moon Lake is one of those traditions that I hated when Spencer and I first got married. This was my 10th year at Moon Lake and I actually like it now. The boys love playing in the dirt everyday!
AnaBella loved all of the treats, and Auntie Aleisha for sharing!
Everyday the boys wanted to go fishing. They were not going to quit until they each caught something. Poor Spencer didn't get to fish at all!
Bella loved playing in the trailer.
AnaBella did not want to sleep, she was having too much fun!
Spencer's Aunt Pam had planned all of these fun activities. One of the days they made these dolls made out of socks.
Even the boys had fun making them.

Grandma Sherry and Bella
It rained pretty hard one evening and we had to eat dinner in our trailers. The boys didn't seem to mind.
Bella was "kicking it" in the Matua's trailer.
Spencer took the boys down to the lake. They started out with all of their clothes on.
But for some reason they all ended up with their shirts off.
The water is freezing cold, I don't know how they can stand it.
One more snack before we head home. One more year of fun at Moon Lake, and we are already counting down the days until next year.

Pioneer Day

We had some neighbors over for the 24th of July. We had fun in the pool, great food, lots of fun stealing the Ligman's basketball hoop, and a fun time watching fireworks. Hopefully this becomes a yearly tradition. The kids had fun on the slide, thanks Hutchings, and being thrown all over the pool.

Ward Picnic

Elle always wants to be where Bella is. She is so cute with her and always asks when she can come play with her. I think Camden has more mustard on his face then what went in his mouth.
AnaBella will eat anything in sight, I am not sure who she stole this from.

These were some cute pictures of Boston and Bella going on a "date"!
We love our neighborhood and the great friends that we have.

Fear Factor Reunion

We had the Hummel family reunion on June 27th. The Hoffman's did a great job planning everything this year. I was on the Green team, and we did not win, but had a great time trying. For the first challenge everyone on the team had to take one lemon wedge and in one mouthful suck in as much juice as you could and then spit it into the cup. The team with the most juice would win the challenge.
I was surprised that both of my boys would do this, but they are like their day, anything to win a competition. Jeremy was trying to get a win for the green team. Just a few onlookers cheering on their team. Meagan and Colby were in town and were lucky enough to join in the Fear Factor challenges.
AnaBella actually liked eating the lemons.
The next challenge was the "HO HO HO" challenge. As you can tell we had to put shaving cream, to form a beard, and then the three youngest people on each team threw cheese puffs at their faces. Whoever had the most cheese puffs stuck to their face at the end won. Spencer's team had our team beat by 7 puffs.
Aunt Tammy was a good sport and took it for our team.
They wanted to see who was the strongest, one boy and one girl.
My cute niece Addison. The little ones had to taste two different baby foods, one fruit and one vegetable. Easton got both of his right, and Camden got his fruit right, but missed his vegetable-it was Sweet Potatoes. I am actually surprised that they both tasted it, I can't get Easton to try anything new. The two people that started this whole crazy family. I am so grateful for the people that my grandparents are and for the way that they raised their children. We have a great family and I am glad to be a part of it. My grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 29th. They have four children, eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
This is the three tough guys preparing themselves to drink the surpise drink. This is after they were all dry heaving and gagging from their drink. The drink was an Egg McMuffin, a hash brown, and orange juice all blended together.

Colby, Tanner, and Easton just hanging out before lunch.Jeremy, Jill and AddisonI thought this picture was cute of Spencer getting ready to kiss Bella, while sharing his popsicle with her. Some of my crazy cousins that helped put this whole thing together. It was really fun!!
