We only went to West Virginia for two days, and one of them we spent the day river running on the New River. It was so fun, scary, but fun. We were able to jump off of a big rock into the river, make fun of Jeremy for letting go of his t-grip and losing his balance multiple times, and spend some quality family time together. This is the only picture that I have, of course none of us had a water proof camera, I wish that I had more. It was such a beautiful area, and it was great learning some more West Virginia history.

Family Vacation, Day 1

As some of you may know I was dreading the cruise that we had to go on last week! It was a working cruise, and I just wanted to stay home. Once we got there we had a blast! We were planning on taking all of the kids, but last month decided to leave Bella home. We were glad we did, and we are grateful to all of Spencer's family who helped take care of her. We went on the Voyager of the Seas, and sailed the Western Caribbean Itinerary.

This was on the "limo bus" on our way to the pier. The boys thought it was pretty cool, it was actually pretty ghetto!

This was our room, the nicest we will ever stay in I am sure! We were in an Grand Suite, and normally we stay in the inside cabin.

Easton was afraid of the lifeboat drill, he started crying when the horns started blowing.

We went and signed the kids up for the kids club area and they got to choose what they had painted on their faces. The little girl is Olivia, she was part of our group.

Last Home Game

Easton was so upset on Saturday because it was Utah's last home game, he actually started to cry! That kid is addicted to football! We had so much fun at the Utah/Byu game, it was even better that the Ute's one. It has been so much fun watching the Ute's this season and we are excited for them to go to a BCS bowl game.

Happy Birthday Camden!

My Baby Boy turned 4 on the 25th. I can't believe that he is already four years old, where has the time gone??? Camden is my sweet little boy, with the cutest personality. He is such a nut! He is always a jokester and he has the funniest facial expressions. He is so thoughtful and is always thinking of others. We love him and are so lucky to have him in our family!
Camden wanted to go bowling for his big day. We went bowling and had a lunch at the bowling alley. Spencer won, of course, and I took last, of course. After bowling we went to our friends barbeque and then went to Leatherby's to continue Camden's celebration. We had a good time with the kids.

Bella will eat anything, and everything, in sight. When ever there is food into sight this is what she looks like.
Jill was out of town, and this is how Addison looked by the end of the day. I know Jill would have loved the hair, and the chocolate all over her clothes!

Scarecrow Festival

We had a fun filled Saturday on the 18th. We first watched the Ute's gain their 8 and 0 recored, we were home for about an hour and then we were off to meet Grandma, Grandpa, Jeremy, Jill, Tanner, and Addison for a night of fun. We went to the Scarecrow festival and the kids had a blast on all of the bounce houses and slides, and playing all of the carnival games. After the night of fun we went to JCW's for some good food and fun! We sat in the BYU Section and the boys were really concerned about that all night. Next time we are definately sitting in the Utah section, just ask the kids.

Crazy Corn Maze

For our Family Night on Monday we spent the evening with Spencer's family. We started out at the Matua's house for Chili and Corn Chowder (Yum) and then went over to the corn maze. We had a great time, even though it was very muddy and sticky. The boys thought it was awesome. We came to our house afterwards for Hot Chocolate and Doughnuts. It was fun, and the whole family was there, which was the best part of it all. These aren't very good pictures, but they are the only ones we have.

Boys Night!

Spencer has been promising the boys a night out under the stars, or in a tent, for quite awhile. Well tonight he is finally making good on his promise. The boys are out sleeping in a tent with their dad, and I am blogging at 2:30 A.M. I didn't think that they would really make it sleeping out there, but they were in seventh heaven. They watched a movie on the side of the house. Spencer set up a projecter and had the movie play right on our house. The picture doesn't look very clear here, but it was actually very clear. Easton kept saying, "This is the best idea ever Dad. This was such a great idea."

Beach Fun

When you hear Moon Lake, you might think a nice lake that you can go swimming in, right? Wrong, this lake is so cold that you will never catch me in it. The sand is also very strange, and very dirty. As I have mentioned before I do not care for the dirt. We did have a fun Sand Castle building contest and the boys had a blast "helping".
The boys played in this mud hole, needless to say that Swim Shirt Camden has on is completely ruined.
The brown mud stains everything, but it sure was funny to watch him!

More Moon Lake Fun

The bath water was so dirty by the time they were through!
Much better, everyone was clean, except for me.
The was on our way back to fish creek. Easton caught a fish with Zack's help.
I love this picture of my cute nephew Mitchell. He was such a trooper.

Moon Lake

As you all know I am a huge fan of camping-NOT!!! Well, I used to hate it, but now I kind of like it, but I will never admit to liking it. I still do not love the dirt, the packing, the dirt, the cleaning, the bugs, and did I mention the dirt? I do love not having a cell phone or a computer, the family time, the games, the food (for the most part), and having free time to do whatever we want. Such a cute picture of Garrett and Camden.
I love this picture of Bella's hair, just a little bit of static wouldn't you say?
Camden was striving to be the dirtiest boy ever at Moon Lake and I think that he has almost succeeded.
The boys were so excited to go fishing, they kept practicing out by the trailers.
I love how Camden is concentrating so hard that is tongue is hanging out.

Family Reunion

We had our Hummel Family reunion this past weekend. It was really fun. My Aunt, and her family had put together an Army themed reunion with games, food, and swimming. We had a good time. Thanks to everyone who put this together!

Jill and I even participated in the relay. She looks like she was winning, but really she cut me off, she is such a cheater!!! Just kidding Jill-I love you!

Mt. Timpanogos

While we had my cute cousin Meagan and her boyfriend Nathan in town we decided to take our kids to Mt. Timpanogos. The last time I hiked this was when I was little girl, let's just say it was a lot harder than I remember. Either that or I am way out of shape, or both! Jeremy, Jill, and the kids came too and our kids had a blast together. Good job to all of the kids for hanging in there.

On a side note, Camden dresses himself. Almost every morning it is Camo pants or shorts. He thinks as long as he is wearing a green shirt it matches. On Saturday I put up such a fight with him and decided it isn't worth it. As a parent I guess we have to pick and choose our battles, chalk one up for Camden! When I asked him why he always wants to wear them he told me it was because he loves them soooo much-how do you tell him no after that?

Not that great of a picture, but I just wanted to point out that Spencer kept giving me a hard time about carrying my purse up the mountain and I realize that he was right, it's a good thing that he doesn't read this blog! It was such a pain to carry, I just didn't think about it when I took the purse to buy tickets, plus it had my video camera in it and I couldn't leave that behind.

This was at the end of the cave tour, before our exciting hike down. We really did have a lot of fun. Plus I learned that I really do need to start exercising, it was pretty sad.
