Kindergarten!!

Easton is growing up way too fast!!! School started for all of the older kids at his school yesterday, but we just went in for a meet and greet at his school. Easton and Afton are in the same class and we went to school to have a look around. His teacher had a little scavenger hunt for them to get to know their classroom. Later that day we had to go back for his assessment test. It was so funny to hear some of his answers. When she would ask him what word sounds like Rug, is it Dirt, or Kite, or Bug. Easton would be so sure of himself when he answered Kite-like Duh!!! Count as high as you can, okay, 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11.12.13.15 (not sure where 14 went) 16.17.18.19.20.21.22.23.24.25.26.27.28.29 long pause..... Mrs. D asks, Easton do you know what comes after 29? Easton: Hmmm....200

It was funny to hear the answers to questions that he already knew the answer to, but just didn't want to answer it right. He later told me that he was just tricken. I am not sure where he has heard that before. Also, I thought it was so cute when we were driving over to his assesment he said, "Mom, I sure wish Camden could come with us." He is so thoughtful at times, why can't they always be like that! I don't know why I can never get Easton to look at me when I take his picture. I thought maybe he would do a better job for Mrs. D when she took his, but he did the same thing to her as well. Maybe one day we will get one where he is looking at the camera.

Take me out to the Ball Game

Growing up I spent many fun filled days, and nights, at a ballpark. My dad has played Softball ever since I can remember and we would go to all of his games and all of the tournaments. We always had so much fun playing with our friends and really looked forward to those nights. It is really fun now that Spencer plays softball with both of my brothers and my dad, yes he is still playing after all of these years. The kids love it because they get to play with their cousins. Little Addison just runs around and laughs and does what the boys do, it is too cute!

Happy 24th of July!

It is so nice living in Utah and having our own special holiday! Spencer still had to work, but was able to come home early. We ended up having a last minute BBQ at our house. A few people were actually able to come! People started showing up to swim around 3:30 and the kids did not get out of the pool until about 8:45 P.M.-they were beat! They did get out to eat and go to the bathroom and that was about it. They were definitely worn out at the end of the day. We finished off the day by getting the kids all bathed and ready for bed and had a fun firework show in front of our house-thanks Mathews for providing the Fireworks. We could not get Brayden to stay in the picture, he kept swimming off.
Easton is getting so brave and will go under water without his life jacket, and can go under without plugging his nose.
AnaBella has her pick of boy friends when she gets older, she has five boyfriends that are all within a few months of her birthday, but Boston and Bridger are in the lead for her favorites as of right now. Bella was climbing all over Bridger one week in Relief Society, it definitely was not appropriate behavior during a very nice lesson. The other ladies around us were sure enjoying the show! She has also shared binkies with Boston, and they see to like to grab each others faces. As you can see it is a close call on who is in the lead to win her heart!

Lagoon

Spencer's work decided to do their company party at Lagoon this year. We are so glad that they did. The boys had a ball! This was their first time to Lagoon and they loved it. Camden was barely tall enough to go on most of the bigger rides. They even went on some of the rides I have always hated-the Rocko planes being one of them!
We didn't even ask them to pose like this. Easton was just being so sweet to Camden, they would hold hands too as they walked around. They were both so good, and didn't fight at all-maybe we should go to Lagoon everyday!
This picture is a little blury, but I love the action shot of Camden. He rode the ride the whole time like that, he wanted to make sure he knew what he was shooting at.

Ute Fans!

On the 18th of July, I know I am way behind! I found the boys in their room playing their own form of dress up! They were Utah football players, and they had tucked the jerseys into their pants and they were all bunched up. Pretty hot stuff-I love the slippers, they make the outfit!!!

Memories

MEMORIES

"You're Daughter Needs You"

Those are the words my husband said to me to go check on Bella in her crib. I knew she was going to be stinky, but I had no idea what a mess she was. I walk in her room and there she sits, with poop everywhere! Not just on her clothes (of course it has to be one of my favorite outfis), but all over the crib, her bumper, her comforter, in her hands, her hair, and the worst part was it was in her mouth. My cute, sweet, innocent baby is sitting in her bed eating her poop!!!
Luckily Eden was at my house and helped give her a bath. She went into the tub, clothes and all. While Eden was bathing her Spencer was getting all of her bedding into the washing maching, and I was disinfecting anything that was in the vicinity of her and her crib. We finally got her all cleaned up and Spencer had to wash her mouth out because she had poop breath. Luckily a little poop hasn't hurt anyone right? The one thing that I do wish I had was pictures of this precious moment, I'm sure I could have used it as blackmail later in life.

Thanks to BIZ all of the poop came out of her bedding and her clothes, after soaking in it all night long.

AnaBella is almost 10 months old and finally has her first tooth!

Beach Fun

When you hear Moon Lake, you might think a nice lake that you can go swimming in, right? Wrong, this lake is so cold that you will never catch me in it. The sand is also very strange, and very dirty. As I have mentioned before I do not care for the dirt. We did have a fun Sand Castle building contest and the boys had a blast "helping".
The boys played in this mud hole, needless to say that Swim Shirt Camden has on is completely ruined.
The brown mud stains everything, but it sure was funny to watch him!

More Moon Lake Fun

The bath water was so dirty by the time they were through!

The was on our way back to fish creek. Easton caught a fish with Zack's help.

Moon Lake

As you all know I am a huge fan of camping-NOT!!! Well, I used to hate it, but now I kind of like it, but I will never admit to liking it. I still do not love the dirt, the packing, the dirt, the cleaning, the bugs, and did I mention the dirt? I do love not having a cell phone or a computer, the family time, the games, the food (for the most part), and having free time to do whatever we want. Such a cute picture of Garrett and Camden.
I love this picture of Bella's hair, just a little bit of static wouldn't you say?
Camden was striving to be the dirtiest boy ever at Moon Lake and I think that he has almost succeeded.
The boys were so excited to go fishing, they kept practicing out by the trailers.
I love how Camden is concentrating so hard that is tongue is hanging out.

Happy 4th of July

I hope that everyone had a great 4th of July, I know that we did! I have decided the 4th of July is my favorite holiday. We have a lot of fun traditions, and I love celebrating our Freedom. I am proud to be an American and am so grateful to all of those that have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. I feel very blessed to live where we do. We start off with our first tradtion, which is going to breakfast with the Evan's family. We have done that for as long as I can remember.

Then we hit the parade, the boys had fun, but it was a little long for them.
The last thing we do is head over to my mom and dad's for a swim party, and then a BBQ. We could not get all four babies to look at the same time. Jaxon is next to Bella in the red shirt and he is 6 days older than Bella, and Livvy and Simon are about two months younger than these two. I am sure these four will cause lots of problems as they get older!
We finished off the night with fireworks at our house with our friends the Mathews. It's too bad I don't have any pictures of this. Eden, my mom, and I were the only ones watching the fireworks, Brandon almost got burned by fireworks (more than once), Easton was hiding in the house, and Afton was doing her Gymastics for my dad. What a fun way to end a great day.

2. Spencer and I will have been married for 8 (wonderful) years on August 16th.
3. I have a Degree from the University of Utah in Finance, but yet I am a travel agent-go figure.

Food, Fun, and Fireworks

I know I am a little late in posting this, but we went out of town on the 5th of July and I am still trying to get caught up with life, and now the blog!

We had a fun BBQ at Kristi and Devin's house. All of our high school friends, along with spouses, and kids (19 I think in all) got together. The kids all had fun running around and playing together. We only had one casualty in our family, a missing flip flop that was found the next day buried in the playground. I thought this was a cute picture of Jody and Kristen.
This is AnaBella's friend Crew, they are only 5 days apart.
Spencer won over Mayci, for a few minutes anyways.


Thanks to Devin and Kristi for opening up their home, and backyard to all of us and our rowdy kids. It was so much fun, we definitely have to make this a tradition!

Family Reunion

We had our Hummel Family reunion this past weekend. It was really fun. My Aunt, and her family had put together an Army themed reunion with games, food, and swimming. We had a good time. Thanks to everyone who put this together!

Jill and I even participated in the relay. She looks like she was winning, but really she cut me off, she is such a cheater!!! Just kidding Jill-I love you!

9 Months Old

I cannot believe that AnaBella was 9 months old on June 25th, the time has just flown by. She has been out in the world now longer than I carried her, how come it always go by so much faster once they are here? At her appointment she was 16 lbs 6 oz. and was 26 3/4 inches long. That put's her in the 10th percentile for weight, and 25th for height. She is such a stinker, yesterday she found Sadie's dog food and now tries to get to it every chance she gets. When I found her with it I had to pull about 5 pieces out of her mouth, and her hands were full just waiting to shovel them in as well! She had a fit when I took them away, I guess she is going to learn the word "no" just like the boys! Mama, Dada, Papa, are words that she jabbers, I can't wait for her to know the meanings. The boys love her and are so cute with her. We are blessed to have such a cute, healthy, little girl as part of our family.

Tim McGraw Concert

Last Friday a bunch of my girlfriends from high school and I decided to go to Tim McGraw. We had so much fun. Not only did we have a great time together, we had a great time "people watching." Thanks to Jesse for hooking Kristen and I up with tickets to the concert , we had a blast! We had VIP Parking, also thanks to Jesse and his friends. At the end of the concert we had our own little private, or not so private, show of this couple below. We couldn't believe the things that they were doing in public, it should definately not be allowed. Most people around were watching them, and dying at how disgusting they were. The best part was when the lights came up they said, "Nice to meet you," and he walked off! We could not believe it! There are definately some, what's the word-colorful?, people out there!

What a Nut-Part 2

Today's high was about 98, or 99, and this is what I find my child wearing when I went outside after checking on AnaBella. He put this on and was walking down the sidewalk when I saw him. This kid is so funny, I don't know where he comes up with half of the things he does. Wearing Bella's pants was my idea, this was not!
