Greetings!

I have more posts for the month of July, but Camden said something tonight that I wanted to put down. We were reading a story called Buzz Lightyear's Backpack Adventure and this is the converstation that we had:

Me-"Greetings, strange creature."

Camden-"Mom, what does 'Greetings' mean?"

Me-"It means hello"

Camden-"Oh, in Spanish"

Me-"No, not in Spanish, it's just a different way to say hello."

What a nut!

Heat Stroker Tournament

We missed the heat stroker tournament last year, and the boys were excited to go this year. The first game of the weekend began with the little girls getting their toe nails painted by grandma. The kids had found spiders in this whole, they thought for sure there were black widows.
This is at 3 a.m., we weren't sure if Tanner peed his pants, or if he was just so hot that he sweat through his blankets.
How come softball is always more fun at 2 a.m.? The little ones thought it was so cool that they were able to stay up so late, and play with all of their friends.
The three Hummel boys!
Taking a rest between two of the games.
I loved this picture of Camden's behind!

Fun in the Sun

In June we weren't able to use the pool that often, but we used it quite a bit in the month of July. We spent a lot of time out by the pool while I was supposed to be working! The boys have both turned into great swimmers. AnaBella is still deciding if she likes the water.

What's up Doc?

This year was the first year that we planted a garden. It wasn't very big, but we had plenty of peas and carrots. Next year we are going to try for cucumbers and zucchinis. The boys thought it was so fun to go out and water and pick the peas when they were ready.

Happy 4th of July!

Yes, I am over a month late in posting these things, but better late than never! The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. We get together to go to breakfast with my family and the Evan's family. We ate at Jim's family restaurant just a few days before it burned down.
After breakfast we go out to watch the West Jordan Parade.
The boys just waiting for something to come, preferably someone with candy.
After the parade we head over to my parents house for a swim party and bbq with the family.

That night we met up with the Mathew's and the Smith's for some fireworks.

Water Fountains

We took the kids to an outdoor mall that had a little water fountain area. The kids had a ball playing in the fountains. Camden and Tanner were nuts, they ran right in and were not afraid.
Easton was a little more reserved and didn't want to get soaked.

We went to the Olive Garden after and had lunch.

The boys love the Olive Garden!

Roger took the boys around in his little truck that they use to haul things around their yard.

Lake Norman

We spent the next day on Lake Norman. My cousin Roger, and his wife Sheila, moved to Lake Norman this past year. Adrian, Bella, and Derek are standing by their pond in their backyard. Derek is leaving on his mission to Uraguay this month. Roger and Sheila's house.
Everyone getting on Steve's boat getting ready to go out.

AnaBella just lounging out waiting to go.

Heading out to our spot, the boys were so excited.
Just trying to get a tan.
Easton was driving the boat, or so he wanted to pretend that he was.
Colby on his waverunner.
Bella, afraid that someone was going to make her get in the water, she is holding on for her life.
We could not get her to smile for anything.
