Easter at home

We had a fun Easter, the kids were excited to come out and look for eggs, and their baskets. Just ignore Easton in his wife beater, as you can tell we are white trash!
Looking for eggs and they were really looking good!

Crazy hair!
Of course I didn't take any pictures in their cute Easter outfits.

Getting ready for Easter

We got together for an Easter dinner and celebration the Saturday before Easter. The kids had an Easter egg hunt and were able to color and eggs and decorate cookies. Grandma Gypsy always has fun holiday activities planned for all of the kids.
I am not sure what Bella was so mad about. Someone probably touched her egg! The shirts definitely had to come off while coloring eggs.
As you can imagine, the cookies were decorated so beautifully.

Baby Chayse

Isn't Chayse so cute on Easter! She had been home for just a week or so here.

Mexico, and Warm Weather, here we come!

On March 2nd Spencer and Brandon decided that we were going on a cruise. On March 6th Spencer blew out his knee in a mean game of DodgeBall. He had both of his Meniscus and his ACL repaired on March 9th. We were scheduled to leave on the cruise on March 19th. This definitely changed things, but we made it work.
We booked our cruise so late the flights were way too high to justify so we ended up driving. We left late one night and spent a few hours sleeping in a hotel in Vegas. Then it was up early to make sure that we made it to the ship on time.
We sailed on the Carnival Spirit, not my favorite Cruise Line but we still had a great time.
Dinner was always fun at a table for just the four of us.
Spencer still had to keep his leg straight, you can tell how thrilled he is that I have his brace in the picture.
One thing we did love was the unlimited amount of soft serve ice cream cones that we could have. Eden was so proud of herself for this ice cream cone that she made for Spencer. When she was walking back to give it to him some guy started clapping, it was bigger than this, but Spencer couldn't stop himself from digging in.
One of our many meals up in the buffet. Watching the famous Acapulco Cliff Divers. It was interesting to learn that this is a family run operation, you have to be part of the family to be a diver.
The Carnival Spirit
Standing up in one of the old hotels in Acapulco, what a beautiful view.
Another view of Acapulco
Our next stop was in a beautiful town called Ixtapa, and also Zihuatanejo. I have had clients stop here before on their cruises, but had no idea what it was like. This is a place that I could spend a week on the beach. It was beautiful, clean, and quiet.
We stopped at the Krystal Ixtapa and took a few pictures and looked around the resort.
There was this Gator farm that was just off the side of the road. It was pretty amazing how well they hide themselves when they do not want to be seen.
Our last stop was in the port of Manzanillo. It was pretty as well, but not as clean, or as small as Ixtapa. We spent a little time at the beach, and taking a tour of the city.
You can't go on a cruise and take pictures of the funny towel animals.
The last night at dinner with our two servers, they were "Da Best" as our assistant waiter would say. They were both great. We had a great, relaxing time on this cruise all things considered.

Grandma's House

Easton had practiced a certain song that he wanted to play for everyone in his own little recital at Grandma and Grandpa Burt's one Sunday. He was so excited and made everyone join around the piano to listen to him. He loves playing the piano, and is excited to start lessons back up soon. I also love this picture of Mitchell, it is so hard to get him to smile when looking at the camera, you just have to catch him just at the right moment.

Baby Chayse

My younger brother Bryce and his wife were expecting a baby in April. Little did we all know that Chayse wanted to join us much earlier than expected. Chayse was born on January 12th at 28 weeks. She was 2 lbs. 4 oz's. I finally got to hold her on Feb. 14th when she was a month old. This is a horrible picture of me, but isn't Chayse just the cutest thing?

Aquarium Field Trip

For Camden's field trip we went to the Aquarium, the kids loved it. Not only did they get to see cool fish and sea creatures, they got to hang out with their friends.
Bella and Bridger
Titus and Camden
What a cute brother and sister!
We were only missing Ashton in this picture. These boys had so much fun together in preschool this year. They will really miss Titus next year in Kindergarten.
I never realized that an Octopus was so ugly.
