Grandma's House

Easton had practiced a certain song that he wanted to play for everyone in his own little recital at Grandma and Grandpa Burt's one Sunday. He was so excited and made everyone join around the piano to listen to him. He loves playing the piano, and is excited to start lessons back up soon. I also love this picture of Mitchell, it is so hard to get him to smile when looking at the camera, you just have to catch him just at the right moment.

Baby Chayse

My younger brother Bryce and his wife were expecting a baby in April. Little did we all know that Chayse wanted to join us much earlier than expected. Chayse was born on January 12th at 28 weeks. She was 2 lbs. 4 oz's. I finally got to hold her on Feb. 14th when she was a month old. This is a horrible picture of me, but isn't Chayse just the cutest thing?

Aquarium Field Trip

For Camden's field trip we went to the Aquarium, the kids loved it. Not only did they get to see cool fish and sea creatures, they got to hang out with their friends.
Bella and Bridger
Titus and Camden
What a cute brother and sister!
We were only missing Ashton in this picture. These boys had so much fun together in preschool this year. They will really miss Titus next year in Kindergarten.
I never realized that an Octopus was so ugly.

Burt Family Christmas 2010

After leaving my parents we headed up to Spencer's parents house. There we opened more presents. Christmas Day is very tiring! Everyone loved their gifts. It is fun to see what everyone gets. We are so spoiled!
Easton was opening his gift from Steve and Jen, he loved his new Utah watch.
Bella loved her Barbie dress up box from the Matua's.
I couldn't pass up the opportunity of taking a picture of Steve with Jackie's hair extensions attached to his hair-disgusting!
This was Camden on the couch as soon as we got home. The kids were so tired. We had a great Christmas and had fun with both of our families.

Hummel Family Christmas 2010

After opening our presents at home we headed over to my parents house for a yummy Christmas Breakfast, and of course more presents. The girls were happy to be here.
We started off with the most anticipated gift of the day. We knew that Aunt Ace had been working on gifts for Christmas, but we had know idea what they were going to be getting. The boys were so anxious to open their bags.
Bear's bedspreads for the Burt boys, and a Dolphins bedspread for Tanner. Adrian is so talented, and she always likes to show us up!
The girls were made knitted beanies. Don't you love how Bella has pulled it over her whole head.
And Addie's cone head, they were so funny!
Skateboards from Grandma and Grandpa.
Easton is thinking he is pretty cool posing on his skateboard.
We were happy to have Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Hummel with us this year.
True "U" fans through and through!
Now that the kids are done it is time for the adults.
Making some good Guacamole!

Christmas Morning 2010

Growing up we always hated the time on Christmas morning when our mom had to go downstairs and take pictures and video everything before we could come down. I am now the mom that does the same thing, and my kids hate it! Oh well, when you are the mom you can do what you want, right? Then in Spencer's family they had the tradition that the kids all come down the stairs from youngest to oldest, and we do this as well.
The kids were excited with everything they could see.
Bella loved her four wheeler.
You have to look close at this picture of Camden, but yes that is a snot bubble coming out of his nose. It was so disgusting, but so funny at the same time.

The Hummel Family Christmas Party

This Christmas tree brings back so many memories each year. The little village underneath is lovingly placed below it each year by my Grandma, and every piece is almost in the exact same place as the year before. The kids love the train and it is almost always the first thing they go to on Christmas Eve. They did family pictures in the front room this year. We used to do this as little kids and they decided to bring it back again this year. I love being a part of this family!
The kids were watching "Alvin" in between dinner and the program. It was cute watching them surround this little DVD player.
Every year between dinner and the presents we do a talent program. This year the Sayer family planned a Nativity and included all of the Great Grand Children, they loved it!
Camden sang the words to "Jolly Old St. Nicholas" while Easton played it on the piano.
Each cousin gets a gift from another cousin, they love this part.
Bella loved the Jammies she got from Grandma and her little Hello Kitty Purse.
