She had climbed into the tub all by herself. So we started all over with the lotion and the clean clothes. She loves the bathroom, the tub, the toilet, whatever is accessible at the time.

Bath Time
Yesterday I had given Bella a bath and had her all dressed, and looking so cute. I then had the boys jump in the tub. I came out to check on something in the front room and Camden comes running out, soaking wet and naked, saying, "Bella's in the tub". I ran down to the bathroom to find this:

I Got Tagged - High School
1. Did you date someone from your school? Everyone I dated was from our high school. At our Drill Team Banquet our Senior Year I was given a little black book with all of the Junior Boys phone numbers. That way I could continue to date those from our school, even when we were out!
2. What kind of car did you drive? My sophmore year I drove a Silver Grand Am, it was the boyfriend to Kriste's white Grand Am. This was a fast car! My Junior Year I drove a Plymouth Laser, otherwise known as the Delorian. My Senior Year I drove a Maroon Dodge Shadow Convertible, there was always a fight for who didn't have to sit on the "Hump".
3. What was the most embarrassing moment of high school? In the Drill Team Showcase my sophmore year we were performing our prop routine. It was a dance using long ribbons and was a lyrical. It started off okay and then when everyone was on the ground doing something, I was up in the air doing some kind of jump with my ribbon flying. The dance continues, I figure out what I am really supposed to be doing and then somehow I was tangled up in my ribbon. Once I finally got out of it I started stepping all over Kriste's ribbon. I was filling in for someone that could not dance that night, and now everyone knows the reason that I did not make the dance in the first place!!!
4. Were you a party animal? No, we liked to have fun, but didn't have to party to do it.
5. Were you considered a flirt? No, I don't think so anyways.
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? No
7. Were you a nerd? No Way!
8. Were you on any varsity teams? I was on the Drill Team.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? No, but one time I was on some kind of a Code 3 (or something like that) when everytime I missed a class, or was late, my mom would get a call just to make sure it was a legitimate excuse for missing a class. Apparently this happnes when you don't show up to a lot of your classes. I never realized that it was a problem to miss a class here and there, or at least one or two a day! I figured as long as I got my work done and had good grades that was all that mattered.
10. Can you still sing the fight song? I don't know how far I would get, but can still hum the tune, and can throw a few words in here and there.
11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mrs. Bjorklund (English 10th and 12th), Mr. Tucker (English 11th), Mr. Wallentine (I think that was his name-US History)
12. Where did you sit during lunch? We would sit at a table to eat and then sat on the stairs, or on the Bench to talk after we were done eating.
13. What was your school's full name? West Jordan High School
14. School mascot? Home of the Jaguar
15. Did you go to Homecoming and who with? Sophomore Year - Travis Saltzgiver, Junior Year-Todd Searle, Senior Year- David Ostrander, Post Senior Year-Jeff Pincock (refer to #1)
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you? I wouldn't want to go back and do it ALL over again, but there are a few things that I would do differently. I would have spent more time with my friends and less time with boyfriends.
17. What do you remember most about graduation? Kristen reminded me of the "Popular Sash" I had forgotten that we had tied the white scarves around are necks-we were so cool!!! I remember going to the OSF after for dinner with some of our friends and their parents. Then off to camping at Cedar Fort.
18. Where did you go senior skip day? I think the last two months were Senior Skip months. We went anywhere but to class.
19. Were you in any clubs? FBLA-Future Business Leaders of America, but I never did anything. I don't even know how I ended up in it. I was also a member of the National Honors Society.
20. Have you gained some weight since then? Of course I have. If you haven't I don't even want to hear about it.
21. Who was your prom date? Junior - Todd Searle, Senior - Matt Meyers.
22. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? 10 years, that is too far off to even think about going! Ha Ha, I was on the Reunion planning committee last year.
23. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself? I wish that I would have gone to my Careers class, apparently all you had to do was show up to get a good grade. I think I went maybe 20 times in that quarter, that is why I received a big fat "D" in that class. That really hurt my GPA and I wish that I would have taken it more seriously.
Hope you all enjoyed my High School experience! I tag 4 people: Jennie, Jill, Jen, and Missy

Happy Anniversary to Us!
I cannot believe that Spencer and I have been married for 8 years. It has gone by so fast! I surprised him with a trip to Washington D.C. to celebrate. This is somewhere that we have both wanted to go to for a long time. We left Friday night on the red-eye and spent Saturday, Sunday, and half of Monday (today) getting in as much as we could see. Needless to say we are exausted!!! We had a great time, and it was nice to be able to get away from everything. We left the kids home with Grandma's and Grandpa's for the weekend. Thank you all for taking care of our kids in order for us to get away!
Spencer is a great husband, and the best dad. The kids are very lucky to have a dad that loves them and that will do anything for them. We love him and appreciate all that he does for our family!

Boys Trip
Kindergarten
This was Easton's real first day of school. The other one was just where he went to meet his teacher and do a little testing. He was so excited for his first day, and just loves school even a week later. He asks how many minutes until he gets to go to school. I hope he never outgorws that. He loves his teacher and is excited to learn.
Afton being the motherly type and guiding him to where they need to be.
Good Morning Burt Family!!!
This is what was yelled at my in-laws house on Saturday morning, bright and early at 7 A.M. All of Spencer's siblings and spouses took it upon ourselves to give my in-laws a new basement. We decided back in March, or April, I can't remember that we were going to finish the basement for Sherry's birthday. Sherry (My MIL) is one of the most generous people I know. She is always thinking of others before herself. So we decided that she deserved this. Her birthday was on August 13th, and we were able to finish everything for her just in time.
These are the before pictures.

And the after pictures.
We spent many late nights there. All of our kids were troopers and didn't complain about the late nights. We had a blast doing this together. We definitely have made many more memories, and I am sure there are more to come.
