Just like Mom

Before I had kids I wondered what traits my children would inherit from me. I was actually hoping that my children would take after their dad, and not take anything from me. Easton sadly enough runs like his mom, now Camden takes my sleeping habits. He can sleep anywhere, as long as he is tired. I too can fall asleep anywhere, and in just a few minutes. This kid was awake about 3 minutes from our house. When we got home tonight this is how I found him in the back of the car.Just in case some of you are wondering what AnaBella takes from me, it is her ability to pout until she gets what she wants.

Sad Day

It was such a sad day for the boys, okay specifically Easton, the day we turned the Murano in. We have not even been driving it since November, it has just been sitting on the side of our house until it was time to turn it in. You would have thought we lost a member of the family. I walked outside and Easton was standing there basically hugging the car, with big crocodile tears running down his face. Have you ever seen such a sad face? Easton asked while sitting in the car if I thought the Murano knew how much he loved it? I am not sure where he gets his sensitivity, it is definately not from either of his parents.

Enjoy!

For Christmas my mom and Dad gave all of us a gift certificate to Enjoy Chinese Restaurant. We all met for dinner there the other night. I am not a huge fan of Chinese food, except for PF Changs, and now Enjoy. The kids had a great time, and loved the food as well. We always have a good time when we are with our family.
Of course the kids wouldn't all look at the camera at one time.

Dinosuar Museum

One of the kids favorite field trips is the Dinosaur Museum. Camden was so excited about it that he went out to the car 15 minutes before I was ready to leave, then he kept coming back in and telling me that the neighbors had already left-yes we were late-surprise, surprise!

Camden had so much fun hanging out with his buddies Ashton and Thatcher.

This kids pulls the funniest faces, I am not quite sure where they come from?

Brotherly Love

Camden adores AnaBella, he cannot get enough of her. I thought these two pictures of them were just so cute. Bella is usually screaming at him to get away from her, but I think deep down she really loves it!

Late Christmas Pictures

I just wanted to post a couple of my favorite pictures from Christmas. Bella had fun opening her presents. My three Power Rangers. This was all they wanted from Santa, well the Power Ranger Masks and Gator Golf. Easton LOVED both his Chicago Bears Jersey (he slept in that night and wore it all the next day as well), and his Chicago Bears backpack, he has the best Uncles and Aunts! Camden thought these boxing gloves were so fun!

Happy New Year!

I know everyone says this, but I cannot believe it is now 2009. Where has the time gone? This year has been a great one, and we are grateful for that. I have been a little slow on posting, as has everyone else, these past few weeks. Life has been crazy at the Burt house.
We had something happen within our extended family that has really made me reflect on life and how fragile it is. Your life is in the hands of our Heavenly Father and it is He who decides when it is your time to go. Sometimes we take for granted those in our lives that we see often, or that we just know will be there tomorrow. We don't tell those around us how much we love and appreciate them enough. When that day comes that they are no longer around we look back and say, "If only I would have..." I want to make 2009 my year of no regrets. I want to be a better person, a better mother, a better wife, and a better friend to those around me. I don't want to have any regrets at the end of the year. I hope that we can all have a great year, here's to a great 2009!
