Easton is growing up way too fast!!! School started for all of the older kids at his school yesterday, but we just went in for a meet and greet at his school. Easton and Afton are in the same class and we went to school to have a look around. His teacher had a little scavenger hunt for them to get to know their classroom. Later that day we had to go back for his assessment test. It was so funny to hear some of his answers. When she would ask him what word sounds like Rug, is it Dirt, or Kite, or Bug. Easton would be so sure of himself when he answered Kite-like Duh!!! Count as high as you can, okay, 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.10.11.12.13.15 (not sure where 14 went) 16.17.18.19.20.21.22.23.24.25.26.27.28.29 long pause..... Mrs. D asks, Easton do you know what comes after 29? Easton: Hmmm....200
It was funny to hear the answers to questions that he already knew the answer to, but just didn't want to answer it right. He later told me that he was just tricken. I am not sure where he has heard that before. Also, I thought it was so cute when we were driving over to his assesment he said, "Mom, I sure wish Camden could come with us." He is so thoughtful at times, why can't they always be like that!
I don't know why I can never get Easton to look at me when I take his picture. I thought maybe he would do a better job for Mrs. D when she took his, but he did the same thing to her as well. Maybe one day we will get one where he is looking at the camera.

Holy Cow Amber, you have been one busy lady!! I cannot believe that Easton is starting Kindergarten! Where has the time gone? I love reading all of your little adventures, you are such a great mommy! I can't believe that Easton is going to start Kindergarten. He is growing up too fast! That is so funny about 14. I can't remember what number he was skipping when we played hide and seek last time.
Oh, that's so crazy that he's going to go to school on a daily basis. It's funny how you count down the days to things like this and then when the time finally comes you are so sad! He is a character all right! I love his confidence! He is such a cutie!
What a funny kid. I wonder where he gets it from...:) Ok, so Afton totally looks like a mini Eden. So adorable!

Anyway, Easton is going to Kindergarten!! That's crazy. I could go on about coming to see him in the hospital when he was born and how it feels like just yesterday, but I won't. Good Luck Amber. I know a year from now when it's Tol's turn, it'll be rough... I'll need all the luck I can get.
Yeah the drill team reunion sounds great. Hopefully it is real soon so everyone can see how huge I am being pregnant. Hopefully we will do a big long kick line for old time sake. Anyways, Easton is so cute. Our children are getting so old. Sad!
Wow!! You are a lot like me....5 posts in one day! Glad to see that we are both caught up! It's hard to believe that Easton is already in school. Before you know it, you will have pictures of Bella starting school! Is it time form #4 already?
Easton, we thought about you today. How did your first day go? Tanner is really excited to be able to talk about kindergarten. Easton is just like his dad, he will never look at the camera. Love ya Burt. Jill
